HI friends and tribe members!
Well, I was elected the Events Committee chairperson this year and then Covid-19 happens. I have not tried to create any events since we had to cancel so many and we, the Coastal Master Naturalists Association Board members, have been struggling with what to do; probably like all of you.
We have finally decided to move on into our ‘new normal’. Our beloved Kristina Wheeler recently reached out to Dr. Blake and got a great decision:
the virtual training that has been available to us from many sources since our lockdown and precautions does count for the Advanced Training hours required to keep up our Master Naturalist certification.
So if you have attended any, please go back to your calendars and enter the training into the Clemson Volunteer Hours database. If you have any questions about the eligibility of a particular training, please reach out to Kristina via email for a decision.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements, including CMNA sponsored virtual events!
Yours in service,
