Volunteer Opportunity with South Carolina Aquarium

Did you know you can volunteer for the South Carolina Aquarium from wherever you live in South Carolina?  Conservation Assistants can be found throughout the state, helping to expand the Aquarium’s conservation reach into communities.  They contribute to the Aquarium’s current citizen science programs, the Litter-Free Digital Journal and SeaRise, and help recruit and organize citizen scientists from their communities.  If you are self-motivated, interested in contributing to a citizen science effort, and feel passionate about doing something to address the significant litter issues all around us, please consider becoming a Conservation Assistant.  The commitment is 2-4 hours per week for one year with opportunities to do more than just pick up litter. For more information, contact Linda Rowe at LRowe@scaquarium.org.
