Master Naturalist volunteer service hours are very important to the SC Master Naturalist program and its many affiliated organizations. The hours that you report, the educational service you provide to the visitors to our parks, and the environmental service projects in which you participate demonstrate your value and the value of the SC Master Naturalist Program to the state of South Carolina.
The Master Naturalist Online Volunteer Hour Reporting System makes it easy to submit and track your volunteer service hours online. With your volunteer username and password, you can keep track of all service activities and advanced training as they are completed and at your convenience. In the reporting system you’ll be able to add/change your address, note where you took initial Master Naturalist training and if you are affiliated with a Master Naturalist Association. Additionally, definitions for the categories of volunteer service are provided in case you don’t know where your service fits. You’ll notice that we are asking for some additional information about the work you complete. This information will help us answer questions about the direct impact of volunteer service.
Instructions for using the online reporting system are provided in the system guide. To access the guide, please go to https://www.clemson.edu/extension/mn/pdf/volunteer_definitions_requirements_jun2016.pdf
You can access the Master Naturalist Online Volunteer Hour Reporting System directly by going to cufan.clemson.edu/masternaturalist/. Access to the system is also available from the State Master Naturalist home page – navigate to www.clemson.edu/masternaturalist and click on the link entitled “Volunteering” on the left-hand side of the page. On that page, you’ll see a link on the right-hand side of the page entitled “Online Volunteer Hour Reporting System”. With your username and password, you can log in to your secure member account page to get started. As you log in, a one-time screen will ask for demographic information that helps us understand characteristics of the people who participate in our program.
If it’s your first time logging in, please change your password once you have logged on. If you have questions, please contact
