Volunteer as an Audubon Shorebird Steward!

An Audubon Shorebird Steward is a volunteer who will educate beach goers about shorebirds and seabirds that use the beach. There is a lot of information about beach birds that is unknown to the general public. This program is a strategy to reduce human disturbances to nesting and migrating birds as well as enlighten the beach going public about this often overlooked yet fascinating group of birds. To become a shorebird steward this summer, you MUST attend a training session.

The next training session:

Time: 9:30am – 11:30am

Date: Saturday, April 30

Location: Caw Caw Interpretive Center, 5200 Savannah Highway, Ravenel, SC 29470
